APC Crisis: The Director-General of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), Salihu Moh Lukman, has told Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to convene a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the party or resign without further fuss. Lukman’s call came on the heel of the multiple internal crises rocking the party in states across the country. The National Economic Council (NEC), comprising the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, 36 state governors, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Minister of Finance, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, among others met in Abuja on Thursday. Speaking to newsmen, Gov. Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, disclosed that he and his colleagues discussed the Economic Management Team (EMT) and the newly formed Economic Advisory Council (EAC) with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
