PDP Plans to Rig Governorship Election in Bayelsa APC claim

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State and the outgoing governor, Seriake Dickson were planning to rig the upcoming governorship election in the state. Yekini Nabena, APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, made this allegation during a news conference Wednesday in Abuja, stating that their plans would fail. He also advised the PDP to do away with any plans to disrupt the election scheduled to hold November 16. Reacting to the violence that took place on Monday in the state capital, Yenagoa, following the removal of the Bayelsa State Assembly Speaker, Nabena claimed that the Seriake Dickson administration was already arming thugs and deploying the state security outfit, Operation Doo Akpo to harass political opponent
